Programme overview
The SRHR Education Programme equips adolescents, young people, women, and men with accurate, age-appropriate, and evidence-based information that enables them to make informed decisions about their health, relationships, and well-being.
Sexual and reproductive health is a fundamental human right. The programme ensures that all individuals enjoy complete physical, mental, and social well-being in matters related to the reproductive system — free from discrimination, coercion, and violence. We promote understanding of bodily autonomy, consent, healthy relationships, gender equality, and access to reproductive health services.
The EmpowerNet Project
Through the EmpowerNet Project, implemented in partnership with The Rain Workers, Child Space Organization has successfully trained both Christian and Muslim community members in informal settlements on critical SRHR issues. The project creates safe, inclusive spaces where young people and adults can openly discuss reproductive health, challenge harmful myths, and access reliable information.
A key innovation is the use of The Rain Workers' Big 5 Teaching Tools — innovative physical models specifically designed to simplify complex reproductive health and family planning concepts for communities with low health literacy.
